The Dow Jones Industrial Average is rallying Friday afternoon with shares of Cisco and Boeing seeing positive growth for the blue-chip average. Shares of Cisco CSCO, +7.06% and Boeing BA, +5.87% are contributing around 25% of the index’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +1.37% was most recently trading 349 points (1.2%) higher. Cisco’s shares have gained $2.73 (7.0%) while those of Boeing have climbed $9.19, or 5.2%, combining for an approximately 78-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Walgreens Boots WBA, +4.75%, American Express AXP, +3.50%, and Chevron CVX, +2.92%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow equates to a 6.58-point swing.
