The Dow Jones Industrial Average is seeing a selloff Thursday afternoon with shares of Intel and McDonald’s seeing the biggest losses for the index. The Dow DJIA, -1.08% was most recently trading 465 points (1.6%) lower, as shares of Intel INTC, -3.02% and McDonald’s MCD, -2.27% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Intel’s shares have fallen $1.61, or 3.5%, while those of McDonald’s have fallen $6.78 (3.1%), combining for a roughly 55-point drag on the Dow. Dow Inc. DOW, -2.22%, IBM IBM, -2.31%, and Walgreens Boots WBA, -1.61% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark results in a 6.58-point swing.
