The Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Wednesday morning with shares of Inc. and Microsoft delivering the strongest returns for the price-weighted average. The Dow DJIA, +0.19% was most recently trading 68 points higher (0.2%), as shares of Inc. CRM, +3.15% and Microsoft MSFT, +2.72% are contributing around a third of the index’s intraday rally. Inc.’s shares are up $8.06, or 3.3%, while those of Microsoft have climbed $5.59, or 2.6%, combining for a roughly 90-point boost for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include McDonald’s MCD, +2.36%, Apple Inc. AAPL, +2.82%, and Walmart WMT, +2.16%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
