Shares of Inc. and Microsoft are trading higher Wednesday morning, propelling the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. Shares of Inc. CRM, +2.79% and Microsoft MSFT, +2.03% are contributing around 25% of the index’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, -0.05% is trading 88 points higher (0.3%). Inc.’s shares have climbed $6.33, or 2.6%, while those of Microsoft are up $4.47 (2.1%), combining for an approximately 71-point bump for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include McDonald’s MCD, +1.77%, Apple Inc. AAPL, +1.49%, and Intel INTC, +1.60%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.58-point swing.
