Shares of Walgreens Boots and Boeing are seeing positive gains Tuesday afternoon, lifting the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. The Dow DJIA, +0.71% is trading 169 points, or 0.6%, higher, as shares of Walgreens Boots WBA, +9.08% and Boeing BA, +5.50% are contributing around one third of the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Walgreens Boots’s shares are up $3.38, or 8.5%, while those of Boeing are up $10.34 (5.8%), combining for an approximately 90-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Amgen Inc. AMGN, +3.21%, 3M MMM, +3.08%, and Chevron CVX, +2.66%. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
