The Dow Jones Industrial Average is soaring Tuesday morning with shares of Walgreens Boots and JPMorgan Chase delivering strong returns for the price-weighted average. The Dow DJIA, +2.37% was most recently trading 586 points, or 2.2%, higher, as shares of Walgreens Boots WBA, +4.06% and JPMorgan Chase JPM, +3.90% have contributed to the index’s intraday rally. Walgreens Boots’s shares have risen $1.46, or 4.1%, while those of JPMorgan Chase have climbed $4.03 (4.0%), combining for a roughly 36-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Goldman Sachs GS, +4.28%, Cisco CSCO, +3.70%, and UnitedHealth UNH, +3.34%. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
