The Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Tuesday afternoon with shares of Travelers and Apple Inc. delivering the stiffest headwinds for the blue-chip average. The Dow DJIA, -0.54% was most recently trading 145 points lower (-0.5%), as shares of Travelers TRV, -3.13% and Apple Inc. AAPL, -2.65% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Travelers’s shares have fallen $3.15, or 2.7%, while those of Apple Inc. are off $3.08 (2.5%), combining for an approximately 41-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Johnson & Johnson JNJ, -2.29%, Boeing BA, -3.11%, and Walgreens Boots WBA, -2.03%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.58-point swing.
