The Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Tuesday morning with shares of Salesforce.com Inc. and Boeing seeing positive gains for the price-weighted average. The Dow (DJIA) is trading 77 points, or 0.3%, higher, as shares of Salesforce.com Inc. (CRM) and Boeing (BA) are contributing to the index’s intraday rally. Salesforce.com Inc.’s shares have gained $5.48, or 2.2%, while those of Boeing are up $2.99, or 1.8%, combining for an approximately 56-point bump for the Dow. Goldman Sachs (GS) Intel (INTC) and JPMorgan Chase (JPM) are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.58-point swing.
