The Dow Jones Industrial Average is rallying Monday morning with shares of Caterpillar and Dow Inc. seeing positive growth for the price-weighted average. The Dow DJIA, +1.34% was most recently trading 346 points, or 1.3%, higher, as shares of Caterpillar CAT, +2.41% and Dow Inc. DOW, +2.45% have contributed to the index’s intraday rally. Caterpillar’s shares have climbed $3.92 (2.6%) while those of Dow Inc. are up $1.17 (2.5%), combining for a roughly 33-point boost for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Walgreens Boots WBA, +2.23%, Amgen Inc. AMGN, +3.42%, and Travelers TRV, +2.56%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
