Shares of Chevron CVX, -2.74% and Travelers TRV, -2.52% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.47% was most recently trading 115 points, or 0.4%, lower. Chevron’s shares are off $1.95, or 2.6%, while those of Travelers have fallen $2.62, or 2.4%, combining for a roughly 30-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Walgreens Boots WBA, -1.91%, Dow Inc. DOW, -1.91%, and Boeing BA, -1.49%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index results in a 6.58-point swing.
