The Dow Jones Industrial Average is rallying Monday morning with shares of Boeing and Dow Inc. leading the way for the blue-chip average. Shares of Boeing BA, +5.51% and Dow Inc. DOW, +3.75% have contributed around 25% of the index’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +1.52% was most recently trading 456 points, or 1.7%, higher. Boeing’s shares are up $7.70, or 4.9%, while those of Dow Inc. have gained $1.83 (4.0%), combining for a roughly 63-point boost for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include American Express AXP, +2.81%, Travelers TRV, +2.90%, and Goldman Sachs GS, +2.61%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.58-point swing.
