The Dow Jones Industrial Average is rallying Monday afternoon with shares of Boeing and Dow Inc. seeing positive momentum for the price-weighted average. The Dow DJIA, +1.47% is trading 462 points (1.7%) higher, as shares of Boeing BA, +6.41% and Dow Inc. DOW, +3.05% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Boeing’s shares are up $10.21 (6.5%) while those of Dow Inc. have gained $1.60 (3.5%), combining for a roughly 78-point boost for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Chevron CVX, +3.04%, JPMorgan Chase JPM, +2.86%, and American Express AXP, +2.68%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.58-point swing.
