Shares of Inc. and Chevron are trading lower Wednesday afternoon, dragging the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. The Dow DJIA, +1.33% was most recently trading 127 points lower (-0.5%), as shares of Inc. CRM, +2.18% and Chevron CVX, +0.04% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline. Inc.’s shares have declined $6.74, or 2.7%, while those of Chevron have dropped $1.64, or 2.2%, combining for a roughly 55-point drag on the Dow. Apple Inc. AAPL, +3.75%, American Express AXP, +0.84%, and Walt Disney DIS, +1.23% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
