Shares of Apple Inc. and Home Depot are trading lower Wednesday afternoon, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. The Dow DJIA, -0.77% was most recently trading 47 points, or 0.2%, lower, as shares of Apple Inc. AAPL, -4.82% and Home Depot HD, -2.69% are contributing to the index’s intraday decline. Apple Inc.’s shares are down $4.01, or 2.6%, while those of Home Depot have fallen $6.56, or 2.3%, combining for an approximately 70-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Intel INTC, -2.28%, Microsoft MSFT, -2.90%, and Salesforce Inc. CRM, -2.89%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.59-point swing.
