The Dow DJIA, -0.09% was most recently trading 239 points, or 0.7%, lower, as shares of Apple Inc. AAPL, -4.41% and Salesforce Inc. CRM, -2.24% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Apple Inc.’s shares are off $7.03 (4.6%) while those of Salesforce Inc. have declined $4.64 (2.8%), combining for an approximately 77-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Microsoft MSFT, -2.38%, Home Depot HD, -1.50%, and Intel INTC, -2.02%. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
