Shares of IBM and JPMorgan Chase are posting losses Tuesday afternoon, dragging the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. Shares of IBM IBM, -3.68% and JPMorgan Chase JPM, -1.90% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, +0.33% was most recently trading 248 points, or 0.8%, lower. IBM’s shares have declined $5.19 (3.9%) while those of JPMorgan Chase are off $3.80 (3.1%), combining for a roughly 59-point drag on the Dow. Home Depot HD, -1.13%, 3M MMM, -1.31%, and Goldman Sachs GS, -0.54% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
