The Dow Jones Industrial Average is trading up Friday morning with shares of Boeing and Honeywell International Inc. seeing positive growth for the price-weighted average. The Dow DJIA, +0.22% is trading 96 points (0.3%) higher, as shares of Boeing BA, +2.85% and Honeywell International Inc. HON, +2.69% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Boeing’s shares are up $6.06, or 2.9%, while those of Honeywell International Inc. are up $5.89, or 2.8%, combining for a roughly 79-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Verizon Communications Inc. VZ, +1.94%, Merck MRK, +1.75%, and Walgreens Boots WBA, +1.93%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
