VZ, -2.15% and JPMorgan Chase JPM, -1.73% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.28% was most recently trading 82 points, or 0.2%, lower. Verizon Communications Inc.’s shares have fallen $1.16 (2.2%) while those of JPMorgan Chase have declined $2.90 (1.7%), combining for a roughly 27-point drag on the Dow. Visa V, -1.68%, Walt Disney DIS, -1.50%, and Goldman Sachs GS, -1.28% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
