DOW, -3.93% and Chevron CVX, -1.89% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.98% was most recently trading 187 points (0.6%) lower. Dow Inc.’s shares are off $1.32 (2.2%) while those of Chevron are off $1.38, or 1.3%, combining for a roughly 18-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include UnitedHealth UNH, -1.20%, Boeing BA, -1.82%, and Cisco CSCO, -2.18%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
