Behind negative returns for shares of Walgreens Boots and Boeing, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Thursday morning. The Dow DJIA, -0.88% was most recently trading 152 points (0.4%) lower, as shares of Walgreens Boots WBA, -2.28% and Boeing BA, -1.49% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Walgreens Boots’s shares have fallen $0.86, or 1.8%, while those of Boeing have dropped $3.81, or 1.7%, combining for a roughly 31-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Caterpillar CAT, -1.51%, Goldman Sachs GS, -1.63%, and Home Depot HD, -1.73%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index results in a 6.58-point swing.
