Behind declines for shares of Walgreens Boots and Home Depot, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is trading down Thursday morning. The Dow DJIA, -1.21% was most recently trading 314 points lower (-0.9%), as shares of Walgreens Boots WBA, -2.59% and Home Depot HD, -2.42% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Walgreens Boots’s shares have declined $1.04 (2.1%) while those of Home Depot are down $6.31, or 1.9%, combining for an approximately 48-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Caterpillar CAT, -1.91%, UnitedHealth UNH, -2.21%, and Goldman Sachs GS, -1.72%. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
