The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down Tuesday afternoon with shares of Walt Disney and Dow Inc. delivering the stiffest headwinds for the index. The Dow DJIA, -0.01% was most recently trading 38 points, or 0.1%, lower, as shares of Walt Disney DIS, -3.86% and Dow Inc. DOW, -1.45% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Walt Disney’s shares are down $7.97 (4.5%) while those of Dow Inc. are off $0.84, or 1.5%, combining for a roughly 58-point drag on the Dow. 3M MMM, -1.14%, Cisco CSCO, -0.82%, and Walgreens Boots WBA, -0.87% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.58-point swing.
