Led by strong returns for shares of Intel and Chevron, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Monday morning. The Dow DJIA, +0.89% was most recently trading 191 points higher (0.6%), as shares of Intel INTC, +2.08% and Chevron CVX, +2.55% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Intel’s shares are up $1.09 (2.0%) while those of Chevron have climbed $1.85 (1.9%), combining for a roughly 19-point boost for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Amgen Inc. AMGN, +1.89%, Dow Inc. DOW, +0.94%, and UnitedHealth UNH, +2.62%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.58-point swing.
