Shares of 3M and Amgen Inc. are seeing declines Tuesday morning, dragging the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. Shares of 3M MMM, -3.25% and Amgen Inc. AMGN, -2.36% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.71% was most recently trading 304 points lower (-0.9%). 3M’s shares have fallen $5.79 (3.0%) while those of Amgen Inc. have declined $6.16 (2.7%), combining for an approximately 79-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Boeing BA, -2.50%, Merck MRK, -2.32%, and Honeywell International Inc. HON, -2.09%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
