The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down Tuesday morning with shares of Dow Inc. and Nike facing the biggest declines for the price-weighted average. The Dow DJIA, +0.01% was most recently trading 99 points, or 0.3%, lower, as shares of Dow Inc. DOW, -1.56% and Nike NKE, -2.02% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Dow Inc.’s shares are down $0.92, or 1.4%, while those of Nike have declined $1.98, or 1.2%, combining for an approximately 19-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Walt Disney DIS, +0.67%, Cisco CSCO, -0.59%, and Apple Inc. AAPL, -0.87%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.58-point swing.
