The Dow Jones Industrial Average is falling Friday afternoon with shares of Dow Inc. and JPMorgan Chase seeing the biggest drops for the price-weighted average. Shares of Dow Inc. DOW, -3.18% and JPMorgan Chase JPM, -2.69% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.90% was most recently trading 290 points, or 0.8%, lower. Dow Inc.’s shares have declined $2.02, or 3.3%, while those of JPMorgan Chase are off $4.34, or 2.8%, combining for an approximately 42-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Chevron CVX, -2.84%, Walt Disney DIS, -2.71%, and Goldman Sachs GS, -2.38%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
