Behind losses for shares of Goldman Sachs and Travelers, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Thursday afternoon. The Dow DJIA, -1.04% was most recently trading 302 points lower (-0.9%), as shares of Goldman Sachs GS, -2.90% and Travelers TRV, -2.29% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Goldman Sachs’s shares are off $9.76, or 2.7%, while those of Travelers are down $2.87, or 1.9%, combining for a roughly 83-point drag on the Dow. JPMorgan Chase JPM, -2.10%, Walgreens Boots WBA, -2.13%, and Home Depot HD, -1.78% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.58-point swing.
