The Dow Jones Industrial Average is in a selloff Thursday morning with shares of Goldman Sachs and American Express delivering the stiffest headwinds for the index. The Dow DJIA, -1.41% was most recently trading 494 points (1.4%) lower, as shares of Goldman Sachs GS, -3.04% and American Express AXP, -2.28% are contributing to the index’s intraday decline. Goldman Sachs’s shares have fallen $11.65, or 3.2%, while those of American Express are down $5.14, or 3.0%, combining for an approximately 111-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Boeing BA, -0.88%, Dow Inc. DOW, -2.09%, and JPMorgan Chase JPM, -1.96%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
