Home Depot’s shares have risen $4.48 (1.4%) while those of Apple Inc. have climbed $1.95 (1.4%), combining for a roughly 42-point bump for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include 3M MMM, +1.10%, Honeywell International Inc. HON, +0.74%, and Procter & Gamble PG, +0.78%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
