Chevron’s shares are up $1.33 (1.3%) while those of UnitedHealth have gained $4.48, or 1.1%, combining for a roughly 38-point boost for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Visa V, +0.72%, Procter & Gamble PG, +0.12%, and Nike NKE, +2.06%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow equates to a 6.58-point swing.
