Shares of Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase are trading lower Tuesday morning, dragging the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. Shares of Goldman Sachs GS, -0.80% and JPMorgan Chase JPM, -0.64% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.10% was most recently trading 87 points, or 0.3%, lower. Goldman Sachs’s shares have dropped $5.61 (1.5%) while those of JPMorgan Chase are down $2.11 (1.3%), combining for a roughly 51-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Walgreens Boots WBA, -1.04%, Dow Inc. DOW, -0.59%, and American Express AXP, -0.49%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow equates to a 6.58-point swing.
