Shares of Coca-Cola KO, +1.35% and Intel INTC, +2.37% have contributed to the index’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +0.35% is trading 121 points (0.4%) higher. Coca-Cola’s shares have gained $0.78 (1.4%) while those of Intel are up $0.78 (1.4%), combining for an approximately 10-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Microsoft MSFT, +1.97%, Caterpillar CAT, -0.25%, and Inc. CRM, +1.91%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
