The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up Tuesday afternoon with shares of Boeing and Goldman Sachs leading the way for the price-weighted average. The Dow DJIA, +0.07% is trading 51 points (0.2%) higher, as shares of Boeing BA, +2.96% and Goldman Sachs GS, +2.49% have contributed around a third of the index’s intraday rally. Boeing’s shares have climbed $7.42, or 3.0%, while those of Goldman Sachs are up $9.12 (2.5%), combining for an approximately 109-point bump for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Chevron CVX, +2.24%, Dow Inc. DOW, +2.28%, and American Express AXP, +1.83%. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
