Shares of Boeing and Honeywell International Inc. are seeing positive momentum Thursday morning, propelling the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. The Dow DJIA, +0.29% is trading 147 points higher (0.4%), as shares of Boeing BA, +3.43% and Honeywell International Inc. HON, +2.80% have contributed about a quarter of the index’s intraday rally. Boeing’s shares have risen $7.46 (3.1%) while those of Honeywell International Inc. are up $4.22, or 1.9%, combining for a roughly 77-point bump for the Dow. Walgreens Boots WBA, +1.91%, Caterpillar CAT, +1.35%, and Intel INTC, +1.11% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
