The Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Monday morning with shares of Cisco and Microsoft seeing positive gains for the price-weighted average. Shares of Cisco CSCO, +1.86% and Microsoft MSFT, +2.07% have contributed to the index’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +0.58% is trading 144 points higher (0.4%). Cisco’s shares have gained $1.10 (2.1%) while those of Microsoft have risen $4.67, or 1.9%, combining for a roughly 38-point bump for the Dow. Inc. CRM, +1.70%, Apple Inc. AAPL, +1.60%, and Intel INTC, +1.45% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
