Led by positive momentum for shares of Microsoft and Cisco, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is up Monday morning. Shares of Microsoft MSFT, +2.28% and Cisco CSCO, +2.19% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +0.61% was most recently trading 233 points higher (0.7%). Microsoft’s shares have gained $5.28 (2.2%) while those of Cisco are up $1.02 (1.9%), combining for a roughly 41-point boost for the Dow. Apple Inc. AAPL, +1.71%, Inc. CRM, +1.68%, and Intel INTC, +1.59% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
