The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down Tuesday afternoon with shares of IBM and Nike seeing the biggest declines for the index. The Dow DJIA, -0.41% was most recently trading 187 points lower (-0.5%), as shares of IBM IBM, -3.04% and Nike NKE, -2.17% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. IBM’s shares have declined $4.04 (3.0%) while those of Nike have fallen $3.10, or 2.3%, combining for a roughly 47-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Johnson & Johnson JNJ, -1.99%, Walgreens Boots WBA, -1.15%, and Dow Inc. DOW, -0.94%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.58-point swing.
