Dragged down by negative returns for shares of Johnson & Johnson and IBM, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is falling Tuesday morning. Shares of Johnson & Johnson JNJ, -2.65% and IBM IBM, -2.45% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.37% was most recently trading 101 points, or 0.3%, lower. Johnson & Johnson’s shares have declined $4.46, or 2.8%, while those of IBM have dropped $3.69 (2.7%), combining for an approximately 54-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Nike NKE, -1.80%, Procter & Gamble PG, -0.91%, and Goldman Sachs GS, -0.90%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.58-point swing.
