Stocks ended mostly lower Tuesday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average pulling back slightly a day after closing at a record as investors prepared for more details about President Joe Biden’s infrastructure plan that’s expected to include trillions of dollars in spending partly offset by tax increases. Biden is expected to outline his plan in a speech Wednesday. The Dow fell around 100 points, or 0.3%, to close near 33,071, according to preliminary figures. The S&P 500 lost around 12 points, or 0.3%, to end near 3,959. The Nasdaq Composite lost 14 points, or 0.1%, to end off session lows near 13,045 after tech stocks felt pressure from a renewed rise in Treasury yields.
