Shares of Boeing BA, +3.32% and American Express AXP, +2.79% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +0.62% was most recently trading 134 points, or 0.4%, higher. Boeing’s shares are up $6.22, or 2.6%, while those of American Express are up $3.43 (2.5%), combining for a roughly 63-point boost for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Cisco CSCO, +1.73%, Travelers TRV, +2.34%, and IBM IBM, +1.88%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.58-point swing.
