Shares of Dow Inc. and Boeing are trading higher Wednesday morning, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. The Dow DJIA, +0.97% was most recently trading 262 points, or 0.8%, higher, as shares of Dow Inc. DOW, +4.26% and Boeing BA, +2.48% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Dow Inc.’s shares have climbed $1.79, or 3.0%, while those of Boeing have climbed $6.91, or 2.9%, combining for an approximately 57-point bump for the Dow. Caterpillar CAT, +3.69%, American Express AXP, +2.66%, and Chevron CVX, +2.83% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark results in a 6.58-point swing.
