The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down Friday morning with shares of Nike and JPMorgan Chase delivering the stiffest headwinds for the blue-chip average. The Dow DJIA, -0.73% was most recently trading 251 points (0.8%) lower, as shares of Nike NKE, -4.04% and JPMorgan Chase JPM, -3.48% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline. Nike’s shares are off $5.89 (4.1%) while those of JPMorgan Chase have dropped $4.84, or 3.1%, combining for a roughly 71-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Travelers TRV, -3.86%, Dow Inc. DOW, -1.07%, and Caterpillar CAT, -1.16%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
