The Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Tuesday morning with shares of Walt Disney and Chevron seeing the biggest drops for the index. Shares of Walt Disney DIS, -1.45% and Chevron CVX, -1.33% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.24% was most recently trading 81 points, or 0.3%, lower. Walt Disney’s shares are off $2.77, or 1.5%, while those of Chevron have dropped $0.94, or 1.0%, combining for a roughly 24-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Boeing BA, +0.15%, Dow Inc. DOW, -1.26%, and American Express AXP, -1.28%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
