The Dow DJIA, +0.87% was most recently trading 243 points, or 0.8%, higher, as shares of Visa V, +3.35% and American Express AXP, +3.89% are contributing around a quarter of the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Visa’s shares are up $7.13, or 3.5%, while those of American Express are up $4.19 (3.5%), combining for a roughly 75-point boost for the Dow. Travelers TRV, +3.31%, Cisco CSCO, +2.73%, and Goldman Sachs GS, +2.05% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index results in a 6.58-point swing.
