Shares of American Express AXP, +3.45% and Boeing BA, +1.31% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +0.77% is trading 105 points (0.3%) higher. American Express’s shares have climbed $2.38 (2.0%) while those of Boeing are up $3.85, or 1.9%, combining for an approximately 41-point bump for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Visa V, +3.59%, Cisco CSCO, +2.37%, and Goldman Sachs GS, +2.16%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark results in a 6.58-point swing.
