Shares of Boeing and Microsoft are seeing positive momentum Wednesday afternoon, propelling the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. The Dow DJIA, +0.32% is trading 72 points (0.2%) higher, as shares of Boeing BA, +3.51% and Microsoft MSFT, +1.91% have contributed about 25% of the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Boeing’s shares have gained $6.71, or 3.3%, while those of Microsoft are up $4.76 (2.0%), combining for an approximately 75-point bump for the Dow. Chevron CVX, +2.26%, JPMorgan Chase JPM, +1.45%, and Goldman Sachs GS, +0.74% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
