The Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Wednesday morning with shares of Amgen Inc. and Caterpillar seeing the biggest losses for the index. The Dow DJIA, -0.32% was most recently trading 99 points (0.3%) lower, as shares of Amgen Inc. AMGN, -2.86% and Caterpillar CAT, -1.50% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Amgen Inc.’s shares have dropped $7.09 (3.0%) while those of Caterpillar have fallen $2.54, or 1.3%, combining for a roughly 63-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Nike NKE, -0.59%, Honeywell International Inc. HON, -0.80%, and Dow Inc. DOW, -0.75%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
