The Dow Jones Industrial Average is seeing a selloff Friday afternoon with shares of Chevron and 3M delivering the stiffest headwinds for the index. The Dow DJIA, -1.85% was most recently trading 548 points (1.8%) lower, as shares of Chevron CVX, -4.25% and 3M MMM, -4.02% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Chevron’s shares are down $3.57, or 4.0%, while those of 3M are down $7.13 (3.9%), combining for an approximately 70-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Johnson & Johnson JNJ, -3.65%, Dow Inc. DOW, -3.92%, and Apple Inc. AAPL, -3.90%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
