Shares of Coca-Cola and Boeing are trading lower Monday afternoon, propelling the Dow Jones Industrial Average into a slump. The Dow DJIA, -1.29% was most recently trading 647 points (2.1%) lower, as shares of Coca-Cola KO, -3.76% and Boeing BA, -5.20% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Coca-Cola’s shares have fallen $2.69, or 4.9%, while those of Boeing have declined $10.23 (4.8%), combining for a roughly 85-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Travelers TRV, -3.42%, Apple Inc. AAPL, -2.51%, and Microsoft MSFT, -2.13%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.58-point swing.
