The Dow DJIA, +0.38% was most recently trading 173 points, or 0.6%, higher, as shares of Goldman Sachs GS, +2.54% and JPMorgan Chase JPM, +2.79% are contributing around 25% of the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Goldman Sachs’s shares are up $7.26, or 2.9%, while those of JPMorgan Chase have gained $3.38 (2.8%), combining for an approximately 70-point boost for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are American Express AXP, +2.10%, Walt Disney DIS, +1.82%, and Chevron CVX, +1.58%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
